Pop Tabs

Collecting pop tabs is an easy way to help the House.  In fact, it is a great way to teach kids about philanthropy and the importance of recycling, while they raise funds to help children and their families at the same time. 

We collect pop tabs because they are pure high-quality aluminum, unlike cans, which consist of aluminum and other alloys. Tabs are also easier to store and more sanitary than whole cans.

It takes 1,280 pop tabs to make one pound
We receive approximately 60 cents per pound.
Our Pop Tab program raised almost $3,000 in 2008
Our goal for 2009 is 10 Million pop tabs!
